Back in the Saddle - Post Party Post

Well, it was a helluva shindig I must say.  We definitely celebrated the wife's 50th in style, and had a very special guest to boot!  I will resume posting (and catch up on my missed Mickey Magazine) tomorrow.

Looks like Ms. Beaumont is pretty fond of you two! Very cool, and congratulations to your wife.

Is the first photo taken in a room that is your "Alice room"? Or is your entire house filled with your collection?

I was fortunate enough to meet Mrs. Beaumont at the Walt Disney Family Museum, back in May 2010. She was very gracious and so kind to me. She even called me "sweet." Even though I clammed up when I met her, she was so nice--it was definitely the best "childhood hero" meeting of my entire life.

But I sure as heckfire didn't dance with her! That's awesome! Congratulations to the Mrs., and I'm glad y'all had a fabjous day. :)

@Brian - yes indeed it was a very special day, and we all had a great time! I bought that Cheshire Cat mirror from the guy who designed it (that guy is now a gal - go figure), and I originally also had an unpainted brown one without the mirror, but have since sold it.

@Major - the photo is indeed taken in what we call 'the tulgey wood', the room dedicated to all things alice. we try to restrict it to that room, although this is a little overflow in the library and the TV room.

@Magic - I was pretty thrilled, I requested the song for the occasion.
