Un-Anniversary Edition DVD Released - I Made the Cut!

And there was a collective sigh of relief here in the Tulgey Wood - I didn't make an ass of myself. Thank goodness. And I only made one mistake (can you spot it?).

I wish I had had the presence of mind to smile, but I was quite frankly petrified! But all turned out well, and I have the fantastic staff at EMC West to thank for making me look good - well at least like I knew what I was talking about :-)

Matt, Congratulations on your "Reflections on Alice!" You look very distinguished and authoritative! I am so glad that they finally attempted a "making of." Maybe for the Blu-Ray edition they will include the full interviews!
I agree that Mary Blair determined the look of the film; what is the evidence that she was responsible for the "turn around?"
Do you recognize the source of the non-Alice music used in the background of this doc (reminds me of Howard's Peter Pan?).
Disneyland Paris has two Alice rides too! Again, congrats!

The evidence is anecdotal as far as I know as I don't have any studio documentation or access to any studio documentation that states that, but it seems to be the consensus.

I don't know the music, and you found my mistake!

Hi! How cool, I didn't know that was you! You did great! I was worried the new dvd might not have enough special features to be worth buying but this documentary was exciting. :D

That does it, I'm going out this weekend and by this DVD!!! I wanted it anyway, but your presence makes it much more authentic! Congratulations!

Very cool! I'd probably be nervous too. At one point somebody was trying to organize something at an NFFC show where I (and a few other bloggers) were suppose to get up in front of hundreds of people and talk about our slides. Gulp! Maybe I would have been OK, but it fell through so we'll never know.

We finally got to check out the DVD tonight, Matt, and you were just great!

Now, when they finally come to their senses and release the film in Blu-Ray, we'll happily buy it all over again!
