Alice and the Queen Animation Drawing "Let the Game Begin!"

This is something that I hadn't seen before, an animation drawing of two major characters together.  I had always assumed that characters like this were always animated separately and only combined at the cel level.  Clearly I was wrong!

Then let the game begin!
