Alice at the bottom of the Rabbit Hole Animation Drawing

This is a neat drawing showing an extreme pose for Alice as she gets up having just landed at the bottom of the rabbit hole after a very long fall, and is off chasing the White Rabbit again.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe this sequence was animated by Don Lusk, although when I purchased this I was told it was by Eric Larson.

Is it just me, or do the pencil drawings look usually a bit better than the fully coloured ink-lined versions?

@Sam - no, it's not just you. While I do love cels and they can be beautiful, nothing compares to the drawing for capturing the true art of animator. My art collection focuses on drawings and other originals, while I have relatively few cels.

Details do pop in the drawings. Yet, it's always fun to compare them with the inked and painted cels.
