I've watched and loved this movie in my 27 years of existence, and I never, ever thought of it that way. WOW. You just turned my world upside-down, Matt. lol
One has to give Disney credit for putting their own spin on the Alice-trapped-in-house scene, as they do for so many other scenes from the original story.

I've watched and loved this movie in my 27 years of existence, and I never, ever thought of it that way. WOW. You just turned my world upside-down, Matt. lol
And it is carried through when she grows until, eventually, the house becomes her costume.
My favorite moment is when she scratches the roof as if scratching her head while thinking at 21:25
