Rotoscope Background Layout Drawing of the Mad Tea Party Table
This is something I hadn't seen before, what appears to be a rotoscope of the Mad Tea Party table, but with no characters.
It is difficult to tell because the Mad Hatter and Alice fill a lot of the screen during this sequence, but I believe this is the background for which this layout was created.

They needed to rotoscope a table?!?!
Yeah...I don't really understand it myself.
I don't think this is anything to do with rotoscoping. I think this was a drawing of the background (in blue) for the animator to work with (perhaps to include in the linetest), which has subsequently been crudely amended (in red) - either to show changes that have been made to the background drawing already, or showing changes that need to be made.
The inclusion of the edge of Alice's chair makes me think the former, as the other changes seem to be about allowing more space for the animation.
