Background Layout Drawing of the Forest Where Alice Meets the Tweedles
Alice has just left the Caucus Race and is still chasing after the White Rabbit, when he runs through this wood.
Alice follows, but stops in a clearing wondering where he's got to. Thus we meet Tweedledee and Tweedledum.
The layout is for a larger background than can be seen on screen all at once, so I had to utilize my limited Photoshop skills to create this mosaic of the background.

The drawing is a bit different from the finished piece... I wonder if, up to a point, the background painters were given a bit of leeway for some details, and for stuff out to the edges of the image?
In the screen cap you can tell that the tree 1/3 from the right is painted on a different layer so that the White Rabbit (or Alice?) can run behind it.
I mean 1/3 from the left!
